Education and Training

We offer top-ranked accredited training programme in cardiovascular medicine to medical students, junior doctors, cardiology trainees, physician trainees, family physicians, nurses and allied health professionals in the field of cardiovascular medicine. We supervise doctors in the cardiology fellowship training programme and those undertaking postgraduate degrees and postdoctoral fellowship.

We also engage in regular academic exchanges with leading cardiovascular institutions worldwide. Over the years, the Division of Cardiology has organised numerous academic meetings, courses and workshops for physicians, allied health professionals and researchers worldwide. Many of them have become cardiac specialists, consultants and opinion leaders in their home countries.

Members of the Division have been regularly invited as faculty members and keynote speakers in various international and regional cardiology conferences, such as the annual scientific meetings of American College of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology, American Heart Association, Heart Rhythm Society, EuroEcho, Cardiostim, American Society of Echocardiography, annual scientific meetings in Cardiology of other countries, as well as main conferences in the Asia-Pacific region.
