Clinical Services

As a tertiary and quaternary referral centre, we provide innovative diagnostic and therapeutic services for a variety of cardiovascular disorders to the local population. Our team of highly motivated and committed staff provides compassionate and advanced medical care salient to patient needs.

The 6-bedded Cardiac Care Unit is well-equipped with a procedure room providing intensive care for patients with acute cardiovascular disorders, including acute coronary syndrome, complex arrhythmias and heart failure.

Each year, we perform more than 3,500 cardiac procedures in the Cardiovascular Intervention Centre including coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention and peripheral vascular intervention, electrophysiological mapping, 3D electro-anatomical mapping, radiofrequency ablation, implantation of pacemakers, defibrillator and biventricular devices, as well as interventional therapy for congenital heart diseases.

The S.H. Ho Cardiovascular Disease and Stroke Centre and the Non-invasive Cardiac Investigation Unit facilitate early and accurate diagnosis and assist in therapeutic monitoring.
